Vinicius Jr Offers Sincere Sorry to The Madrid Club Supporters
The attacker has netted five finishes in 10 La Liga matches during the current campaign.
Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his conduct when substituted in Sunday's heated match against Barcelona triumph.
He was taken off in the 72nd minute and expressed his annoyance by heading directly off the pitch.
He subsequently came back to the dugout and, following his club's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach the opposition's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury after the game incidents.
"This day I want to say sorry to all the Real Madrid fans for my reaction when I was replaced in the big match," the player wrote on his account.
"Similarly to I have said in person during the latest practice, I wish to apologise again to my team-mates, the team, and the president.
"Occasionally emotion gets the better of me because I continuously aim to succeed and help my team. My competitive character comes from the love I feel for this team and each thing it represents."
He moved to the Spanish capital from Brazil in 2018 for £38.7m and has notched 111 goals in more than 300 games.
But his prospects in the Spanish capital is unclear with reports in lately stating that Real would consider letting the 25-year-old move on if they got a suitable offer.
When Vinicius was taken off on that day, TV coverage from broadcaster the platform captured him remarking: "It's always me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I depart, I'm going."
In his new message on the platform, he commented: "I commit to keep battling every second for the benefit of Los Blancos, as I have done since the initial arrival."
